Oluwatayo Oloyede (Tayo) serves as Minister of Worship at Faith Reformed Church, bringing over two decades of experience in worship ministry. His journey began as a preteen, playing the keyboard and organ in church and school—a passion that has grown into a lifelong calling to lead God’s people in worship.
Tayo’s God-given, unique calling (Ephesians 2:10) is to inspire life, and leading and teaching people to worship God is one of the many ways he lives out that purpose. One of his favorite passages of Scripture is Psalm 139:7-12, a powerful reminder of God’s constant presence and faithful pursuit.
Tayo holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Crop Protection and Environmental Biology and Toxicology from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria’s premier university. His heart for worship and church leadership led him to pursue a Doctor of Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also currently completing a master’s degree in Pastoral Leadership at Birmingham Theological Seminary in Alabama.
Tayo is married to his best friend, Christiana, and together, they are excited to be part of what God is doing through the Faith Reformed Church family. When he’s not leading worship, you’ll likely find Tayo playing his keyboard or guitar, cooking up something in the kitchen, or soaking in the beauty of God’s creation.
