A team of 34 middle school students, high school students, and adults from Faith Reformed Church traveled to Annville, Kentucky, June 14-19, 2026. On Sunday, June 28, 2026 the team had the opportunity to share about their trip during the church service. Rather than simply recounting what we did, we wanted to reflect on what God did—both through us and in us.

Curt Wilson, Interim Youth Minister, shared one story from the week has stayed with him. Chad, the director of Grace Covenant Ministries (www.gcmky.org), shared that families in his church were given a sign that read, “Now Entering the Mission Field.” Most people hung it by the door as they left the house. One family hung it on the door leading into the house.

That image captures one of the biggest lessons from our trip. While we traveled to Kentucky to serve others, some of the greatest work God accomplished was within our own group of 34 students and adults. We learned, served, built relationships, had fun, and ultimately grew in our faith as we experienced God at work together.
